Sharland Hill Loop
9.5km loop run (plus a short walk between car parks).
You can choose to make this into a mostly uphill or mostly downhill loop depending on where you park and start.
We typically run the mostly uphill version leaving the car parked at the finish. Follow Cleveland Terrace to Atmore Terrace and park at the Jack’s Track trail-head (obey the neighborhood “no parking” signs). Walk/jog back down the road to the Maitai River track to start the loop.
Run up the river track past the golf course and over the Tantragee Saddle road to just before the ‘pipeline bridge’ at about 5km. Turn right over the style and up a twin track through the arboretum to join the Tantragee Saddle road. Follow this up and over the saddle then turn right on to the Pipeline Track. Follow this to Jack’s Track (signed). Up and over Jack’s Track to where you parked your car.
The numerous side tracks crossing your path are bike tracks (Codgers Mountain Bike Park) so don’t run on them. Jack’s Track and the pipeline track are dual use tracks that pre-date the MTB park.
